New Products Return Policy
 
RETURN POLICY:
 
Product(s) may be returned within 30 days of shipment for a full refund less shipping and handling charges and a 15% restocking fee (restocking fee may vary based on special order requests and on product bundles).
 
No refunds will be made for software, items that are downloadable or opened items that are received by NEC more than 30 days after delivery. Downloadable products or account keys purchased to activate or unlock downloaded software are non-refundable. Projector lamps are non-refundable.
 
REFUNDS:
 
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded for any returned product. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded for (1) undeliverable packages (including those for which the shipper cannot locate the customer, resulting in the order being returned to sender or abandoned) or (2) deliveries that are refused (including instances in which the customer is unwilling to pay any applicable taxes or duties, which results in the order being returned to sender or abandoned). All undeliverable or refused orders will be treated as a return with the same policy applied as returned items.
 
Return Procedure/ Shipping Instructions:
 
To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, call the NEC Web Store at (800) 449-0967 or email Andre Garcia at agarcia@sharpnec-displays.com.
 
Returns must be shipped with freight prepaid. Collect shipments will be considered an unauthorized return and will be sent back at the customer’s expense. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss on all return shipments. We highly recommend using a reputable shipping carrier capable of providing proof of delivery, as well as properly packing and fully insuring your return shipment. Reference your RMA number on the shipping label to ensure a timely and accurate credit back to your account. Return shipping address will vary based on customer location and product being returned. Return shipping address will be provided once RMA has been approved.
 
Other Terms and Conditions:
 
RMA request must be made within 30 days of delivery. RMAs are only valid for 30 days, and returns must be received by the approved NEC return location within 30 days of the issue of the RMA number. Product received after 30 days of the issue of the RMA will be returned back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
All product returned must be in tact and in the original packaging with all peripherals and accessories.
Amount to be credited back will be equal to the original sales order invoice dollar amount (minus any applicable fees).
RMAs will not be issued by NEC for product purchased from another website. Please contact the original place of purchase for their return policy.
If product is found to have been damaged by your carrier, you will be contacted by NEC to make arrangements with your carrier to pick up the product and to file your claim.
An RMA number must be obtained before you return a product for any reason. Product received without a valid RMA number may be returned to you at your expense. NEC will not be liable for any loss or damage to unauthorized returns.
If there is a dispute, please contact the NEC Web Store (as listed above) immediately.
If you receive an item you did not order, it may be returned to NEC at no charge.
A call tag will be issued by NEC to pick up any mis-shipped product due to NEC’s error.
 
Refurbished Products Questions & Answers
 
What are “Refurbished” products?
Our refurbished products are manufacturer-certified products that have been returned to Sharp and reconditioned to meet NEC’s high quality standards. These displays undergo a stringent reconditioning and testing process.
 
Examples of why items may be returned include:
The box or product was damaged in shipment, which is then returned to NEC and the unit is fully tested, repaired and repackaged.
The item was returned because of a defect. The defective part is replaced by NEC, fully tested and packaged in generic packaging.
The item was returned because of a minor cosmetic blemish(es) that does not impact the unit’s functionality. In some cases, the casing may be corrected or replaced with new cosmetics.
The box was previously opened and the unit was used and returned to NEC. The unit is fully tested and repackaged.
All displays are returned to like-new condition and come with power cables and VGA cables. All user manuals are available on our website.
What makes a refurbished display such an excellent purchase?
Refurbished products are cleaned, quality checked, tested and repackaged by our authorized refurbishing center.
Our refurbished items are high quality. In fact, our refurbished goods have a very low return rate because they are rigorously inspected and tested for proper working condition and quality. All items are returned to like-new condition.
The price you pay for a factory-reconditioned item is much lower than retail.
 
What is included in the box?
 
The display, a power cable, a video cable (D-SUB), an audio cable (if speakers are included) and a remote (if standard). Additional cabling, batteries, etc. may or may not be in the box. A user manual may be located online if not included in the box.
 
What is the return policy?
 
NEC does not accept any returns on refurbished product. If a product is under refurbished warranty, NEC will repair or replace the product with a comparable product. Please contact Customer Service for more information.
 
What is the warranty policy?
 
Refurbished products are warranted for 90 days if new stock has a warranty of one year or less. For products two years or longer, refurbished product’s warranty is one year. If a product is under refurbished warranty, NEC will repair or replace the product in the event of functional failure.
 
Can I buy an extended warranty for refurbished products?
 
No.
 
Who covers shipping costs?
 
If you are already set up as an NEC customer, standard shipping / freight terms apply. If you are not set up, you are responsible for all shipping costs.
 
How do I pay for product?
 
If you are already a current customer and set up within our system, your order will be processed like any new stock order. If not, a credit card will need to be provided. Please note that a credit card requires additional processing.
 
The quantity I received is less that what I ordered
 
Refurbished products are very liquid for us and quantities change daily. Example: If your bid of 20 units is accepted, the quantity available may have dropped to 18 by the time the order is entered. We will notifiy you to change your PO quantity at that time.
